along the way, some of them which gave him pointers and encouraged him
to sing, and develop his voice, as he had marketable image. Nelson Listened.
Nelson gained enough confidence to
begin experimenting with singing and songwriting. After graduating from
High School, Nelson obtained gigs performing with local bands, as background

Rudy Peralta
“Amare”
Born and Raised in New Brunswick, NJ. A Proud
son of Dominican Parents, Rudy “Amare” peralta began hearing
his musical “calling” at the early age of 5, when he began
collecting old records of merengue and bachata, to which he spent most
of his time interpreting their songs. It was when Amare, first heard the
amazing sounds of the hit “voy pa’ alla” from Bachata
Legend Antony Santos, that he decided he was going to pursue a career
as a guitarist. His Father saw his enthusiasm and purchased him a guitar
– A gift that he will forever cherish, as this opened a new world
that to this day, he is still continues to grow within.
“Amare” practiced the
guitar day and night like a rock star, emulating the tunes of this favorite
artists and songs. He also started experimenting with the BASS as well.
At the age of 15, he was given an opportunity to showcase his talents
as a guitarist with a local bachata group by the name of Ricky Torres.
This opportunity allowed “amare” to find his identity as a
guitarist and songwriter. His inspirations were a mixture of HipHop/R&B
and Latin Artists, such as Ricardo Arjona, Donell Jones, Biggie Smalls,
KC and JoJo. These inspirations are what create the fusion driven rhythms
that circulate in Rudy “Amare’s” head on a Day to Day.
Amare is has also contributed to the
Bachata group, Nueva Era, which he serves as Guitarist. He is considered
by that group’s musical director “Eunel Torres, as “My
Right Hand”. Amare is considered by most guitarists and producers
he’s worked with, as “A very talented producer among the who’s
who in in guitarists, and a guaranteed success story.
